The all-new Hero Athlete GS Pro with Look NX7 bindings mounted on the R21 Pro plate is a race-ready GS ski specifically designed for juniors aged 8 to 16. These skis are tailored for juniors participating in giant slalom ski clubs. Sizes, construction, and flexes have been adjusted and modernized to better meet the needs of developing athletes. The flex and balance have been individually developed for each size to best accommodate growing juniors. The Cascade Tip Construction utilizes alternating layers of metal and fiberglass stiffeners, reducing the ski's weight and controlling tip torsion. This design translates to smoother turn initiation, greater precision, and effective edge grip from start to finish. The ski's wood core is constructed from robusta poplar, providing a better balance of weight, flex, and stability for a versatile power blend. The entire construction is reinforced with fiberglass, giving the skis both transverse stiffness and a firm feel.
