The temple is quite high, probably not suitable, I would switch to a model without a temple.

Yes, it is possible. Provided it is a standing table and it can be raised to a height of at least 115cm. You won't be able to see the numbers or the control button. But the device can still be operated, alternatively via an app on your mobile phone or tablet. It might even be possible via an Apple Watch (not verified).
