Can you connect the Garmin HRM Run to the Edge or do you need the extra bike heart rate belt? Does the cadence sensor have any other use than just displaying the frequency?

Hi NikkiJackson, yes according to Garmin webpage, HRM Run is fully compatible with all Garmin Edge devices.
