Do I have to redeem and insure the scooter? How expensive?

The electric scooters in our range, which travel at a maximum speed of 20 km/h and are road-legal, do not need to be registered with the road traffic office. These are equivalent to an e-bike.

With regard to insurance, this would have to be clarified with your insurance company, but should be possible without any problems in terms of liability.
