Does anyone know the difference between this Tacx ANT+ antenna and a wireless stick, e.g. Garmin USB ANT stick?

Helpful answer
The Tacx ANT+ antenna and the Garmin USB ANT stick basically use the same ANT+ protocol for data transmission. The difference lies in the alignment and design: The Tacx antenna is optimised for indoor trainers and is connected via a USB cable so that the receiver can be positioned closer to the trainer, making the connection more stable. It is compatible with all trainers that communicate via ANT+ technology, including Tacx ANT+ trainers and smart trainers as well as third-party trainers. The Garmin USB ANT Stick is compact and plugs directly into the PC, making it particularly suitable for Garmin wearables and general ANT+ sensors. It automatically receives activity data as soon as a compatible fitness device is within range and transfers it either to Garmin Connect (online) or to the Garmin Training Centre software.
