It will still function as normal without the bluetooth connection ...you can turn it on, off, half brightness and flashing with the button on the top of the light. There is a usb connection cable in the box but this is just to charge the battery. Its just annoying as one of the (not so main) selling points for me was this extra functionality and programmability and I cant seem the access it. Also, I havnt contact Galaxus or MagicShine CH directly yet, but Magicshine UK dont seem to be able to even offer any advice, which isnt promising...

According to the manufacturer's information, it only works with Bluetooth. There is a USB charger included, but no other cables.
