Does the telescope come with a tripod and if not, is the standard celestron tripod compatible?

It comes with tripd. But I agree with other user it's not a quality telescope. The eyepieces are very bad and it's not possible to align the teleskop 100%.

yes, it comes with a tripod so not necessary to purchase another. It's not a very good telescope only ok for beginners.
