Addition to my comment of 12.6.18: had the unit in use for the first time now and the reset is limited to the daily data, the overall data remains.

The device displays distance (km), riding time, average speed, max. speed, calories (!), total time and total calories when you click through. Speed, Calories (!), Time, Total Distance, Total Time and Total Calories. With a long press, the trip data is set to zero. The total data probably remains (I assume). When starting up, you can probably also enter the total distance travelled by bike so far. If the new Sigma is a replacement for a lost device, as happened to me.
