I received this scooter yesterday but I'm going to return it because it has the acceleration button that you have to hold down all the time! instead my previous scooter has the button that after a few seconds makes a small sound and you can let go of the button and it goes the same! now: they told me that this option can be activated from the app! is it true???? if yes, i would keep it! if you could let me know. thank you very much, best regards!

Hello ! I am not aware of such a function, but I do not miss it either. Be glad that it is this button, the so-called thumb throttle. You hold your hand without it so that your thumb is down and then you can accelerate quite well. I once had a scooter that had a lever that you had to move with your index finger. It was really tiring and after a short time you had a cramp. I then had this scooter converted to thumb throttle as well. You can also adjust the speed much better in corners or in front of obstacles. I've never missed cruise control, I don't ride straight ahead for hours on an open road ha ha

I do not find the option in the app by default. From a little googling I understand that the cruise control feature and speed limit are restricted regionally. It is possible to flash an alternative Region Software to your device to enable these features but could be potentially illegal to use your device unrestricted in public in your region.

Hello Rebiss
That annoys me too and unfortunately I didn't find this setting in the app. However, I am otherwise very happy with the scooter and have therefore kept it.

Hello rebiss
I don't see where that would work in the app.
