I already have the second device and it just doesn't pump up my tyres. I screw the device directly onto the valve of the bicycle tyre (without attachment) and use the predefined programme for the bicycle. The device is loud and does something but does not pump. The display jumps from 0 to 6 psi every now and then. thats it. Am I doing something wrong? Air comes out when I put my hand in front of it.

Yes, I had that problem too. I put a small sealing ring on the valve because it doesn't seal enough with the flash valves. Both other types of valves work perfectly.
