If I fit it to my Volkswagen t6 California will I still be able to open the boot?

Only if you set the boundary wire longer. But it's not witchcraft... then it works💪.
The Onto has a swivel function, I don't know if this is enough for the T6, but it was enough for the Kombi. 👍
