SwitzerlandMobility has good options - But the Garmin 1030 is too weak to process this data. At home on the computer no prob. In the field, however, difficult - the route must still be in your head!

The system is simply too sluggish and too imprecise for major changes in direction. The route planning via the brain (without crap) is still very helpful.

I already know the map material from "Switzerland Mobile", it's excellent!
However, I'm not convinced by the hardware, the display is far too dimly lit, you have to tap + or - to zoom, two-finger zoom like on a mobile phone doesn't work. I'm seriously considering selling the unused part.
