The bell should only be used as a bicycle bell. The volume in decibels is approx. 75 dB. An average bicycle bell, on the other hand, reaches 85 dB. That's right, the manufacturer's marketing text is a little confusing here. What's important is the specification in dB, as well as the fact that the bell was developed for quieter environments. It could therefore be too quiet for places with a certain level of background noise.
