My flat is very ringhlrig and the parquet squeaks. Can you hear that (apart from the water noise)?

In your case, it might be worth buying a floor protection mat. Regardless of the mat, the rower is actually very quiet when in use. I would even say you can use it at night without reaching a dB level of nocturnal disturbance. Unless the soundproofing of the entire rental property is poor and has not been met according to the structural engineering requirements.

The sled runs very well and makes no noise.

The water turbulence is medium loud in its own room,
but it would have to be especially ringing (e.g. you can hear the neighbours talking),
for this noise to be disturbing.

Since the 2 rails are each mounted on 2 medium-hard rubbers, this is
something against structure-borne sound transmission.

In an extreme case, you could place the unit on a plywood board
and a yoga mat underneath.
Then nothing more should be heard.

I do not observe any relevant noise from the unit itself that could be disturbing.
