thought electrical appliances with EU plugs may not be sold in Switzerland by law. It's also a bit annoying that the CH version is 60.- more expensive.

Good day
That really bothered me too. That's why I opted for the cheaper appliance with the EU plug. I still had 3 cables for old computer computers/screens with Swiss plugs which have exactly the same plug at the other end to connect the appliance to 230 volts. If you no longer have such a cable, you are sure to find it in one of the many second-hand shops. Take courage and have fun with this great appliance. Greetings D.G.
