To mount a 12-speed Shimano cassette on the roller trainer, you need the Shimano/SRAM Freehub adapter from Wahoo Fitness. This adapter makes the trainer compatible with Shimano 9-, 10-, 11- and 12-speed cassettes, including Shimano 12-speed road cassettes. Installation of the adapter is required and Shimano cassette and lockring are not included.
