I also had this problem. Now I just work with Swisstopo SwitzerlandMobility and Imports and Exports. Data is just different, don't know why. Money badly invested. But I haven't found any alternatives yet.

Unfortunately, yes, at least on 25.6. Digitec still gave me the old version!
Garmin calls the map version 2016, but the underlying data from Swisstopo are much older. Some roads and buildings that have been there for 15 years or more are missing. It is an insult that CHF 300 is charged for this "historical" map. As a long-time customer, this is the first time I have been really disappointed by Digitec!
Question to Digitec: will you provide an update?

I don't know what will happen in the future. What I have noticed, however, is that there are always updates that you can install to keep up to date. I am thrilled with this product. I especially like the large display on which I can easily read all the necessary information at any time.
