I can't get this really great monitor to run properly (5120*1440) with my notebook. The problem is somehow that Intel thinks they have to patronise you with the resolution. I had previously successfully used a 4k monitor with the same notebook and the resolution is 1 million pixels higher. Have any of you also had this problem and possibly found a solution? It's not really fun with 3840*1080 :-(

So I managed it: Open the Intel graphics control room and enter the user-defined resolution (5120*1440) but beware: not 60 Hz but 30 Hz... this is slightly jerky and not so suitable for graphic artists and certainly not for gamers but it's just enough for office use - I mean, it's certainly better than working with the wrong resolution. So I can conditionally recommend the monitor for notebooks.
