The cold shrink insulation sleeve made of EPDM rubber consists of factory-pre-stretched tubes containing a removable support spiral. Simply prepare the connection, position the tube, and pull out the support spiral. The cold shrink sleeves are tubular sleeves with open ends and feature a sealing mastic. Once the insulation tube is positioned over a connector, the support spiral can be pulled out from one end. This causes the ends of the tube to shrink, creating a waterproof seal.
