The 3M Scotchcast Casting Resin Connection Kit of the 92-NBA series is designed for one to five core, unshielded low-voltage plastic cables. It ensures electrical insulation and mechanical protection for cable connections. Free from SVHC, it complies with EN 50393 and can be used indoors and outdoors, as well as underground or underwater. The transparent, one-piece casting shell can be easily folded together and locks automatically. Additionally, pre-shaped, perforated foam seals are used, eliminating the previously time-consuming need for saws and tape for a tight seal. During the pouring of the included 3M Scotchcast Casting Resin 40, a GMG system for closed mixing and pouring is utilized, effectively excluding contact with the casting resin during processing. The transparent mixing bag ensures visual control of the mixing process. After use, the mixing bag with the remnants of cured casting resin can be disposed of as regular household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary.
