The 3M Temflex Electrical Insulation Tape 165 is a versatile, self-adhesive PVC electrical insulation tape that is suitable for a wide range of applications both indoors and outdoors, up to one kilovolt, due to its high quality. The PVC film withstands a breakdown voltage of up to 40 kilovolts and belongs to insulation material class Y with a temperature resistance of up to 90 °C. It features good abrasion resistance and is resistant to moisture, alkalis, and acids. Even under changing weather conditions, it maintains its adhesive strength permanently. It is extremely flexible and conforms well to various surfaces. The 0.15 millimeter thick insulation tape provides excellent electrical and mechanical protection. Therefore, it is suitable for electrical insulation of all cable connections, for electrical installations, and for the repair of low-voltage cables, as well as for bundling wires, cables, and cords or for color coding them.
