The MDT-A heat shrink tubing is a medium-walled shrink tube series with hot melt adhesive, designed for reliable performance in electrical splicing, connections, and terminations up to 1.0 kV, as well as for mechanical and environmental protection. MDT-A shrink tubes feature a halogen-free, cross-linked polyolefin outer wall and a factory-applied adhesive layer on the inside. The MDT-A heat shrink tubing is a halogen-free, medium-walled heat shrink tube made from cross-linked polyolefin with a melt adhesive coating. The melt adhesive penetrates all irregularities and cavities, preventing moisture ingress. The MDT-A heat shrink tubing is suitable for insulating plastic and mass cables up to 0.6/1 kV, for both outdoor and underground installation. This aging-resistant heat shrink tubing is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range of -55 °C to +130 °C. With a high shrink ratio of 4.5 to 1, you can accommodate large diameter jumps with just one tube. The MDT-A heat shrink tubing meets technical requirements according to IEC 60684 and is approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping, Certificate 95/30032(E5). It is halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
