Burglary protection for windows and doors: The Abus FOS 550 window rod lock is suitable for all common inward-opening windows and doors, with or without a rebate. Installation can be done on wood, plastic, and metal. The window or door can open to the right or left. The FOS550 window rod lock from Abus is fundamentally mounted on the opening side from the inside, with the lock on the window sash or door leaf and the locking box on the frame.

Order note for necessary accessories: The respective rod set for FOS550 must be ordered separately depending on the height of your window or window door (not included in the delivery!). The window or window door leaf is measured from the center of the existing handle square upwards or downwards.

Rod Set 1: 2x rods of 75 cm each, max. usable height of 80 cm.
Rod Set 2: 1x rod of 75 cm and 1 rod of 118 cm, max. usable height of 80 cm or 123 cm.
Rod Set 3: 2x rods of 118 cm each, max. usable height of 123 cm.
Rod Set 4: 2x rods of 150 cm each, max. usable height of 155 cm.
