The BBQ 500 consists of:

• The grill tray, which serves as a coal tray and as a base for the grill rack in the oven.
• The rotating grill rack, which can be securely placed on the base thanks to its tailored design, where the food is placed for grilling.

The great culinary versatility is one of the main advantages of the BBQ 500, as it offers the possibility to use various cooking methods depending on how you utilize it. It can be used with hot coals in the grill tray under the grill rack (for faster cooking at higher temperatures, similar to traditional grilling) or without (for slow, even cooking, akin to a conventional oven).

Another option concerns the handling of the oven door, meaning you can keep it open to increase the circulation of hot air and cook by convection, or keep it closed to mimic classic grilling, allowing for slower cooking while still imparting flavor to the food through smoking.
