The security lock with handle control 709X is designed for situations where the benefits of handle-controlled unlocking must be combined with the mechanical security features of the lock models 309X and 409X. The integrated monitoring contacts can query essential locking statuses. The bolt is retracted by the engaged external handle, allowing the double action latch to operate freely. When the door is closed, the control latch, along with the pre-tensioned cross control, ensures that the bolt is fully extended and the double action latch is secured, enhancing overall security.

The panic side settings and the option to select between fail-locked and fail-unlocked modes can be adjusted as needed. This lock features a mechanical automatic locking system and a mechanical follow-up control between the double action latch and control latch. It is compatible with both left-hand and right-hand DIN installations and is suitable for fire doors. The external handle is controllable, and there is a changeover function for unlocking with a key from the outside. Additionally, it includes monitoring functions.

The package includes one security lock and one operating manual. The 729X...PZX series locks feature a continuous handle follower, requiring both an inside handle and an outside handle. The lock can be actuated by a card reader, code lock, timer switch, button, etc.
