Sandflex® bimetal hole saws perform exceptionally well in various materials, including wood, plastic, non-ferrous and ferrous steels, as well as stainless steel. They are compatible with both stationary and portable electric drills. Side slots facilitate quick and easy removal of cores. The maximum depth of cut is 38 mm, with 4 to 6 teeth per inch. All VIP hole saws come in cardboard packaging with enclosed instructions. The maximum hole size is the nominal hole saw size plus 1.5 mm, with no reduction. Extra large dimensions include 168 mm and 210 mm with 6 TPI and normal cutting depth, and 177 mm with 4/6 TPI, allowing a maximum cutting depth of 50 mm. All large hole saws are designed to cut at a 0° cutting angle for a less aggressive cut.
