Isolated according to the VDE regulations EN 60.900, individually tested. Permissible voltage for use with insulated pliers: 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC. Two-color multi-layer insulation, red on the outside and yellow on the inside. Damage to the outer red insulation becomes immediately visible through the underlying yellow insulation. The advantage: simple and always feasible safety checks.
