Hand sheet metal shears should only be used for cutting thin sheets of soft metals or steel. They are not suitable for cutting round and square metal shapes such as wire.

Always place cutting tools with the blades closed in a visible location. The handle should point towards you!
Store cutting tools separately! It protects the blades and your fingers!
Cutting tools should be sharpened regularly! Dull cutting tools increase the risk of injury and require more force for the same cutting performance.
