The universal thread chaser from BGS is a versatile tool specifically designed for damage-free re-cutting and cleaning of external threads. It is suitable for both right-hand and left-hand threads and can be applied at any point along the thread, allowing for high flexibility in use. The stepless adjustability via a knurled screw ensures precise adaptation to the respective thread size. The thread chaser is suitable for metric external threads from M4 to M45, as well as for imperial external threads from 5/32 to 1 3/4". The cutting edges are made of high-quality HSS steel with a hardness of 62 (+/- 2) HRC, ensuring a long service life and high efficiency. The chrome-plated surface provides additional protection against corrosion and wear.
