The Blumat supplies water to the plant directly through its porous clay cone, which allows the drying soil to draw water out. The water then rises from the adjacent reservoir into the cone. A lower or at least equal water level in the container is required for this regulating suction operation. The low delivery capacity is designed for the consumption of houseplants.

This water dispenser with a suction hose is suitable for individual houseplants that have a higher water consumption, starting from a pot size of 15 cm (clay cone length approx. 8 cm). Blumat XL is also suitable for not too large potted plants or balcony boxes with appropriate multiple setups.
