It allows for smooth, splinter-free drilling of blind holes as well as drilling at edges and slopes, for example, for the installation of hinges, doweling, or removing knot holes. Suitable for drilling in softwood or hardwood, veneered wood, and non-laminated particle board. The 3-sided shank of the Forstner bit prevents slipping in the chuck. It is manufactured according to DIN 7483G, with a cutting hardness of at least 50 HRC. It is compatible with all drills featuring a 10 mm chuck.
