The HSS-Co spiral drill bit has a long lifespan when drilling stainless steel. This extended lifespan is ensured by the metal alloy with 5% cobalt content and the solid HSS steel, which is ground to an excellent surface quality, wear resistance, and heat protection. The two cutting edges and two spiral flutes quickly remove chips, further extending the lifespan.

This drill bit can drill alloyed and unalloyed steel, stainless steel, cast iron, cast steel, as well as acid- and heat-resistant steel. The shank is cylindrical, with the shank diameter corresponding to the drill diameter. It is used with drill stands and drill drivers. The HSS-Co spiral drill bit is manufactured according to DIN 338.
