The BRILLIANT TOOLS Brake Fluid Tester BT706001 is designed for the electronic measurement of water content in brake fluid. Its compact design allows for easy carrying in a service technician's pocket. The condition of the brake fluid is quickly assessed and displayed across five levels (green - yellow - red).

  • Green: Battery okay, no water present
  • Green - Yellow: < 1% water content
  • Green - Yellow - Yellow: approx. 2% water content
  • Green - Yellow - Yellow - Red: approx. 3% water content - brake fluid change recommended
  • Green - Yellow - Yellow - Red - Red: at least 4% water content - Danger! Brake fluid must be changed urgently!
