Thanks to the design of this adapter is a practical way for a quick conversion.Thus you save the installation of a separate DAB roof or window antenna. You only need to plug the normal antenna plug into the adapter socket and the adapter splits the antenna signal via a high-quality solid crossover into the FM / DAB ranges. The power supply of the integrated amplifier is done via the DAB plug of the radio. (Please set, if available in the setup of your radio, "DAB ANT POWER" to "ON". Prerequisite for proper function is an antenna rod length of 30-100 cm. Window antennas, bumper antennas and antennas with integrated amplifier are not compatible. You can recognize an active antenna by a remote feed adapter looped into the antenna line.
