Hazardous area versions offer mechanical advantages over common standard versions. The hazardous area version replaces the standard range. Patented plug and swivel connection provides protection up to IP66/67. Suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments and for dusty Zone 21 and Zone 22 environments. CEAG standard hazardous area plugs mate with hazardous area sockets and couplings. CEAG hazardous area plugs do not mate with standard sockets and couplings. Couplings mate with enhanced and standard plugs.
