Product details

The 6-meter long Deltaco EV-1226 charging cable has a maximum charging power of 3.6 kW. The current can be adjusted via the controller to 6, 8, 10, 15, or 16 A. This single-phase charging cable is equipped with a protective contact plug for Type 2 connections, making it compatible with most modern electric vehicles. The protective contact plug allows you to charge at a standard household outlet.

With an IP54 certification, the cable is protected against dust and splashes, making it ideal for charging your electric vehicle in any weather conditions. The charging cable is suitable for all modern vehicles with Type 2 connections, including brands such as Audi, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, and Volvo. The connectors of the charging cable are silver-plated. The single-phase cable is made from TPE material, which offers good resistance to oil and UV light.

The charging time can be limited to between 1 to 12 hours. The start time of the charging process can also be programmed in advance for 1 to 12 hours. The display on the controller in the cable shows information about the set charging current and, if applicable, the timer functions. The display indicates the current status and how much power has been charged during the process.

The charging cable is monitored through bidirectional communication, meaning there is an exchange of information between the vehicle and the charger. Before the charging process begins, a self-test is performed to ensure that the cable is properly connected and that the vehicle can be charged.

Additionally, a mechanical lock secures the charging cable, protecting it from theft and unauthorized use. Disconnect the charging cable first at the Type 2 connection on your vehicle after charging. The cable should not be repaired or spliced, as this may compromise safety and functionality.
