The DORMAKABA panic mortise lock SVP 5xxx is a self-locking lock specifically designed for use in panic doors. It offers optimized mechanical locking protection and ensures high security through a two-point locking mechanism with spring preload. The universal control latch allows for easy handling, while the panic release via the handle ensures a quick escape in emergencies. The lock is equipped with a corrosion-protected lock case manufactured to DIN dimensions and comes with a stainless steel strike plate and a matching locking plate. It meets the requirements of standards EN 179 and EN 1125, making it ideal for use with panic door fittings. Additionally, it provides burglary protection up to resistance class RC2 in suitable door systems.
