The outdoor heating system for installation in Gussasphalt GSN is designed to keep parking garage ramps, emergency access routes, entrance areas, etc., free from snow and ice. The GSN heating mat consists of a glass fiber mesh onto which a dipole heating cable is sewn. The allowed application temperature is 240 °C for 10 minutes. The glass fiber mesh prevents the heating cable from floating up. The sewing technology using an aramid thread guarantees 100% reliable installation and stability of the heating mat during installation. The mat does not need to be fixed to the substrate. The optimal asphalt thickness is 2x2 cm and must be applied in two working steps. The heating cable is resistant to spherical acids and alkalis.
