The ET-8300 control unit is used for fully automatic electric heating of open spaces, garage drives, stairs, ramps, roofs, and gutters. Compared to conventional systems with manual control or thermostatically controlled systems, the heating is switched on fully automatically when there is a danger of icy conditions, such as snow, ice, or sleet, and switched off again after the ice has thawed.
