Stainless steel according to DIN 10088, conditionally rust resistant, not acid resistant, and not suitable for woods with high tannin content such as coumarú, oak, merbau, and robinia. It is also not suitable for chlorinated atmospheres. The special head shape reduces chip build-up, and the screw geometry minimizes the risk of splitting; however, pre-drilling is recommended, especially for hardwoods.
