Eve Energy-EU (Matter)

Apple users with 2nd or 3rd generation Apple TV will enjoy the Eve socket. Without a Matter hub, however, you should do without. Once the system has been set up, reliability and accuracy are among the device's strengths.

For good reason, handling accounts for 40 per cent, while features, safety and measuring accuracy only account for 20 per cent each. The electricity meters are placed between the socket and the plug of the appliance to be tested. Unfortunately, simply plugging in and reading the meter does not work...

The Eve Energy requires a Matter control centre to set it up. It's best to use an Apple TV or HomePod, as the plug only realises its full potential in the Apple universe, including the Eve app, which collects consumption data.
