The Falk S450 is a versatile navigation device with a beautiful slim design. Thanks to the Falk Premium Map Service, the map material for 44 European countries remains up to date free of charge for two years. Numerous functions such as 3D terrain and TMC congestion avoidance are pre-installed for safe orientation and precise target guidance.
Features include MarcoPolo Travel Guide, guided tours, StadAktiv, learning navigation, day and time routing, Real-View Pro, lane assistant, TMC, speed alert, text-to-speech, detour manager, millions of points of interest, Park & Go, 3D terrain view, and more.
It also offers geocoordinates input for WGS84 coordinates, an integrated loudspeaker, automatic day/night screen switching (also in long tunnels), and date/time set automatically via GPS atomic clock accuracy.

Nennenswerte Schwächen leistet sich das Falk nicht, Menü, Routenführung und die Fußgängernavigation sind exzellent. Leider fehlen Bluetooth und kostenloses TMCpro. Auch der Prozessor ist zu schwach.

Ähnlich wie beim günstigeren R 350 war auch beim S 450 die Qualität der berechneten Routen gut, abgesehen von einem kleinen Verhaspler im Heslacher Tunnel.
