The Fischer Weather Shell Renovation Anchor FWS II is a system for retrofitting three-layer exterior wall panels made of concrete. The system consists of the FWS II weather shell renovation anchor made of stainless steel and Fischer high-performance mortar FIS V. The FWS II is embedded in the load-bearing layer into the weather shell using the injection mortar. The plastic coating protects the insulation from the ingress of the mortar.

Advantages: Due to the large anchor diameter, the FWS II achieves a high lateral load-bearing capacity. This reduces the number of required renovation anchors per panel to a minimum, thus saving costs. The drill hole can be created in one operation using commercially available diamond drill bits, resulting in fast progress. Installation is permitted with a load-bearing layer thickness of 80 mm or more. The approval with a new design concept allows for safe and economical static calculations and makes loads from temperature changes verifiable.

Application: For the retrofitting of three-layer exterior wall panels and the reinforcement of exterior wall panels for additional external insulation.

Building materials: Three-layer exterior wall panels made of concrete ≥ C12/15.

Functionality: The FWS II weather shell renovation anchor can be embedded in the load-bearing layer and the weather shell using injection mortar FIS V and FIS V Plus. The red plastic coating protects the insulation from the ingress of the mortar. The correct filling of the anchor with the weather shell is visible through inspection openings on the anchor head.
