Functionality: The UX with flange is suitable for pre-mounting, while the UX without flange is designed for through-mounting. When the screw is turned in, the UX expands in solid materials and knots in hollow spaces. The required screw length is determined by the length of the anchor plus the thickness of the component plus the screw diameter. It is suitable for wood and particle board screws as well as lag screws. In panel materials, the unthreaded part of the screw must not be longer than the component, and the UX with flange (R) should be used. The flange distance must be at least one anchor length.

Applications: Pictures, lights, baseboards, lightweight wall cabinets, towel holders, lightweight medicine cabinets, curtain tracks, sink fixtures, TV consoles, and sanitary, heating, and air conditioning fixtures.
