The columns are available in eight different sizes. The teak wood used comes from old Indonesian buildings, farms, or ships. Instead of destroying this natural material, it is recycled for furniture production through an elaborate process. Due to its age and storage, the wood is thoroughly dried; however, the varying humidity between the country of origin and Europe can lead to slight changes in the wood. Insufficient humidity can cause wood cracks, as with all wooden furniture. Therefore, any resulting tension or shrinkage cracks do not constitute a quality defect and do not warrant a complaint, unless the use of the product is significantly impaired. Especially during the heating season, it is important to maintain an appropriate indoor climate. For underfloor heating, additional humidity sources in the room are recommended.
