The columns are available in eight different sizes. The teak wood used comes from old Indonesian buildings, farms, or ships. Instead of destroying this natural material, it is recycled for furniture production through an elaborate process. Due to its age and storage, the wood is thoroughly dried; however, the varying humidity between the country of origin and Europe can lead to slight changes in the wood. Insufficient humidity can cause wood cracks, as is the case with all wooden furniture. Therefore, any resulting stress or shrinkage cracks do not constitute a quality defect and do not warrant a complaint, unless the usability of the item is significantly impaired. Especially during the heating season, it is important to ensure an appropriate room climate. For underfloor heating, additional moisture sources in the room are recommended.
