The Kabu-IN is a cable sealing solution for one or multiple cables made from a soft thermoset elastomer (PUR) in yellow, featuring stainless steel compression flanges. This gas- and pressure-water-tight internal seal is used for Kabuflex® pipes at building entries. The advantage lies in the soft surface, which ensures a secure seal against gas and water pressure. Due to its excellent adhesion properties, the Kabu-IN compression ring sealing insert sits securely (against pressing water and gas) in the pipe. Installation can be successfully performed using visual contact indication (yellow bead) at the edges of the compression flanges. For a secure seal, it is important to ensure that the internal seal is positioned in the area of the pipe base or screed, or the Kabu-Seal external seal.
