The Classic Irrigation Controller 4030 is particularly used when the water supply is insufficient to operate the entire system – consisting of multiple irrigation systems – simultaneously. It also manages the individual irrigation intervals for each zone, ensuring tailored and optimal watering for areas with different water needs. The Classic Irrigation Controller 4030 is designed to connect up to four 24 V irrigation valves. For versatile irrigation programming, up to three programs can be stored per valve. The watering days and cycles can be individually selected, and the watering duration can be set between one minute and 3 hours 59 minutes, with a central adjustment option from 0 to 200%. If immediate watering is required, it can be activated manually. The large, clear display with user guidance makes programming simple and intuitive. The Gardena pump control can be connected via the master channel, allowing a pump to be used as an alternative water source. The Gardena Classic Irrigation Controller 4030 can be used both indoors, such as in a garage, and in sheltered outdoor locations, and it has a 230 V power connection. To ensure that the irrigation control operates reliably and safely, a power failure backup with a 9 V alkaline battery is possible (battery not included). If desired, a Gardena rain or soil moisture sensor can be connected for water-saving operation.
