The latch lock 12511 with bolt blocking is suitable for doors in commercial buildings (administrative buildings, nursing homes, hotels) or for doors with requirements regarding active shooter prevention, such as schools, municipal administrations, and social services. For daytime or nighttime operation, the external push handle can be engaged or disengaged by turning the cylinder with a key in the opening direction until it stops. During daytime operation, the door can be accessed from both sides via the handle. The panic function B allows for exit from the panic side at any time. The bolt blocking makes the lock suitable for flush-mounted doors as well. The bolt blocking is activated via the control bolt, which is retracted with the lock bolt.
