Measuring transducers with a variety of input signals (voltage, thermoelectric voltage, RTD, and 2-wire resistance transmitters, among others) can be directly connected and calibrated. By using a multimeter (e.g., METRAHIT X-TRA), the corresponding measurement values can be measured at the output of the measuring transducer, optionally transferred to a PC via an adapter, displayed there with the optional METRAwin90-2 software, and compared with the respective calibration specifications. The set and actual values are displayed or printed as a certificate. In the "mA-Sink" position, the METRAHIT CAL simulates a two-wire transmitter and draws the selected current value from the measurement chain.
